| 10/01/2025 | 197 | ORDER: On December 6, 2024, Alumax Inc. (Debtor) filed a petition for relief under chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code. This is a small business case as defined in 11 U.S.C. § 101(51D), and Debtors deadline to file a small business plan pursuant to 11 U.S.C. § 1121(e) is due on October 2, 2025. At the hearing held on July 30, 2025, the court heard arguments regarding Debtors objection to proof of claim number 2 filed by Commercial Equipment Finance, Inc. (CEFI) and CEFIs opposition to the same. The court also allowed the parties to submit supplemental briefs in support of their respective positions and took the matter under advisement. See, Dkt. # 162. Because the court is cognizant that any plan to be submitted by Debtor hinges on the resolution of this contested matter, the deadline to file a small business plan under 11 U.S.C. § 1121(e) is hereby extended for twenty-eight (28) days, until October 30, 2025.
